I would like to know where the best place to get my windows tinted here in anchorage. I've been driving and noticing that the wrx looks a lot better with tinted windows.

Wow, that's $235 more than I wanna pay! :lol: But I suppose that's not really the point...

Had mine done at Shades too... had to wait for the "appointment" but all went well and love the results. And they do not carry "legal" tint so be prepared to be a law breaker.

$235 is a good price... is that for all 4 windows and the rear?
do they have anything close to legal tint? don't wanna spend that much on tint only to be harassed by the cops...:mad:

yup, all the windows for 235. He was offering a bit of a discount though (friend of a friend).

I think legal would be 70% in the front, which I don't beleive they carry at shades..

Actually legal tinting on the front is 30% tint/ 70% Vis as a maximum

2% rear and 30% rear windows... I had to rip mine off the front ones

what about cost on just doing all the rear windows?? what am i talking about just limo tint the whole car:disco:
