I think a few turbo kits for the 2.5RS would be just fine for it. Should be easier to turbo because it's a MAF. I was thining myself I may need to look at that AVO turbo kit for my 2.2L

OR

Buy Remanufactured WRX motor from rallispec.com (Much more reliable)

A Ver6 bumper w/ Ver6 lip, RS side skirts, rear splats w/ or w/o version 5/6 rear bumper cover, aluminum hood with scoop and vents, ver5/6 grille?

Go with the 2nd option... much easyer in the long run. MUCH EASYER.

With the swap becoming more and more common, you might as well go with that. Slap on a RS hood (tmic), front bumper, ect.
Don't forget that you'll be adding a lot of power to your L, so you'll need bigger brakes. Probably have to upgrade the drums to disks.
If you can get the whole drivetrain even better, LSD would be handy, as well as an uprated clutch.
With the brakes, you'll need bigger rims, and some nice tires.
