Get them while they are hot. Get the simplicity of plug and play engine managment for your STI or WRX. The GP moto Unichip features full control for boost, timing and fueling. You can toggle between 2 maps, and there is also a switch to clear ecu memory.

If you are local (so cal) I can custom tune your setup. If not I can flash in a map for your specific setup.

WRX - $800
STI - $900

This setup works awesome on the STI. GP MOTO tuned a STI w\ an APS club spec kit. 350 WHP and smooth as glass.

The Dynamispeed WRX also has a GP MOTO unichip, and has been flawless for 6 months.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Ashley

What makes these better than the Utec or other engine management out there?

UTEC isn't available for the STi yet.

Yes, There is no UTEC out yet. This should also be around $300 cheaper than a UTEC. If you don't want to be playing with the tune every weekend, and want more flexability than just a reflash, then this is for you.

All forms of engine managment do the same thing, They all just get you there a little differently. You have to pick the one that is right for you.

How can this setup be tuned (i.e. software used)?

This setup can be tuned by any dealer having a unichip dealer kit. We have a multitude of maps we can flash into the chip before we send it out. You can also purchase you own dealer kit if you want full user tunability. For custom or special setups we can accomodate you personally if there is no one local.

Ashley

Whats a GPS club spec kit? I want 350 WHP!

Dynamispeed

APS club spec kit.... We all want 350 WHp... just not for that price :)

I will have a twin scroll kit that will put down 400 WHP for less :)

Ashley, do you also have flashes for different octanes? I'm 4 hours north of L.A. and 4 hours sourth of S.F. so you can imagine my excitement for a product like this...I am not going to be tuning it anytime soon. Will you be stocking these regularly for the STi? I might be a potential buyer down the road for one of these(perhaps and April-May purchase).

Matt-

Yes I will have a steady supply of these. Just let me know when you are ready and we can upload the maps that best suit your setup.

Awesome, thanks Ashley. Another few questions I have:

1) Just for clarification, the maps that you can upload onto the GP Moto Unichip prior to sending them out are compatible with STi's equipped with aftermarket engine components OTHER THAN GP Moto right?

2) Out of curiousity, by just naming off the aftermarket components I have on my engine, how exactly do you go about designing a basic map for the Unichip?

Thanks again,
-Matt

-Thank you Ferdie!

Matt-

Excellent questions!

We have a variety of basemaps for STI's and WRX's. I work in conjunction with GP MOTO developing basemaps. I have access to all of theirs, and they have access to all of mine. We have developed these by tuning cars of all different modifacation levels. When sending out a unichip premapped, we can set it up so that you backup timing map is a "saftey" map. That is how I have me car currently set up. If I get a bad batch of gas, or experience any kind of problem (Of which I have had none since installation of the unichip) I can flip the switch and the backup map pulls 2 degrees of timing. We can set the backup map to advance timing for race gas, or water injection You can do whatever you want with it. This is a great feature of the GP MOTO unichip that makes it a little more flexible than some of the reflashes out there.

On a side note, I have had my Unichip installed for about 6 months now, through various various climate changes. I hooked my wideband 02 up to my car last night and did a few pulls. The A\F ratio is still spot on from the day we tuned it, (10.9-11.1 across the board) and the car drives as smooth as glass. I have never gotten a knock, sputter or hesitation.

Ashley

Ashley, again, I appreciate your help, thanks. Say, I put on the basics on my STi---full turbo back, headers, and uppipe also with a ported VF34 or my stock VF39 ported. Is there any horsepower to be gained by designing such a map for my intended set up?

Thanks,
-Matt

You will DEFINATELY see and feel horsepower increases, lower boost onset, and more torque across the board by tuning the car to your mods. With your intended setup above, you will have one hell of a street fighter.

All this just by slapping on the Unichip with a map you designed and no tuning while still maintaining daily reliability huh? That's awesome. I will be sure to keep the Unichip in mind when that time comes. ;) Hopefully it comes soon! :D

Thanks Ashley,

Is it possible to just buy the wiring harness?

Not for the STI unfortunately. Possibly for the regular WRX.
