I do not own an APS intake. I know that they suggest you use the one that goes into the fender well (red in color/might be the one you speak of). I wanted to know if you have this and how much it will cost me?

Ditto on the question - do you have a db on the exhaust? I'm looking for something under 89db. Is this catless? How is the rear of the muffler supported - it looks like there are no hangers at the end?

One other question. In your opinion what would be the optimal exhaust set up for an SR50 with less concern for top end and more need for bottom end torque for City driving? Doesn't necessarily have to be APS.

With the SR50 an APS 3.5" would be nice. If noise is a concern step down to the 3". If you are looking for a different route the B&B Downpipe or the Helix Downpipe with a JDM Catback is a nice solution as well. Whatever you need let me know and I will take care of it. Thanks.

Kingpin do you still have the APS 3.5" turbo back exhausts in stock for $1099 shipped? I also noticed something on APS' website. They have a chart showing the different dB's each exhaust system put out. APS designates their 3.5" turbo back with this part number: APSWRX-HOE/R5. If you look on the chart I marked all over and circled below....is it me or is there a catted version of the 3.5" turbo back??????

The 3.5 inch Turbo back.
Right now I'm having issues with the wastegate on my 18G and my HKS downpipe, due to the flange. If I was to switch to the APS system, any forseen problems?....
I guess is the APS downpipe like a bellmouth?

The APS is similar to a bell mouth excepting that it has a splitter to chanel the wastgate gases away from the gas from the exhaust wheel. I do not forsee any problems. This would be a great upgrade for you. Thanks.

So, their TBE does not have any O2 bungs? Can they or you have that done? Real PITA to get that done here in Bavaria...not supposed to mess with that stuff here.

What have people been opting for instead?

It is a tough call. That size really fit the bill for most people. Other options are the DR650. The Perrin. Blitz. Greddy. Custom. ARC.

So how much is the DR650?

ANy idea why they are discontinuing it? It seems like a lot of people are buying them.

Only speculationas to why they discontinued. DR500 was very popular. My guess, and it is only a guess, is that runs were made of both the 650 and 500. Sales lagging on the 650 prompted them to remove 500 from market to improve 650 sales. Perhaps it will resurface. Perhaps not. Maybe something new will surface instead...or something very similar...

Price on 650 is $1700. Thanks.
