bottlediger, They are both replacements for the stock parts so I don't see any reason that they wouldn't work together. However, if it was my car I would probably stick with the same brand for both parts. Thanks for pointing out the contradicting weights. The 12.9lbs was a typo and according to ACT's website the actual weight is indeed 13.9lbs. :)

What is half-weight shipping?

Yes, the Exedy clutches are in stock. Shipping to PR would be $46 for UPS 2nd Day Air.

Half-weight shipping is when the shipping rate is based on half the actual product weight. In this case the actual shipping weight of the clutch is 17lbs, but the domestic UPS Ground rate would be based on half the actual weight. The half-weight shipping is only valid for Ground so it doesn't apply to PR, HI, or AK.

Sorry for some noob question...... Does the exedy clutch kit/flywheel replace the stock clutch/flywheel. It does come with pressure plate right??? Do you have a combo deal on this?

You can mix and match flywheel/clutch from other manufacturers if the're not some sort of special item that has to be used together.

Bump.

I got my stuff on Wednesday and I decided I would only have time to install the short shifter today. Took about 1-1.5 hours to do and was really easy to do(no beer or swearing required). Everything I got seems to be of very good quality.

Unfortunately, the city decided today would be a good day to paint new crosswalks at the end of my court. So I am boxed in for another 15-30 minutes. I at least drove to the end of the block and back... got into 2nd gear at like 1700RPMs, hehe. So far shifting feels very improved. I'm sure that will be the case when I finally get to do some real driving.

So anyway, thanks again!

And those folks on scoobymods need to update their instructions because it was a piece of cake install! Paperclip through the pinhole for the lockout cable made it a breeze.

Ive tried calling for 2 days to order stuff and no answer at all. :confused:

Dude, I'm working 12+ hours a day. I'm splitting my time between my house where this operates now and our new place. Once we move I will have a full time person to answer the phones. I just can't be everywhere at once and this move is taking forever because the city is hassling us on the stupidest little things and hanging our certificate of occupancy over our heads. We need the C of O to move in and they aren't letting that happen yet. I know our phone service sucks right now, but it's going to get better once the city gets off my ass and lets me do business.
