HomeSlice, I'm sorry, but we generally don't sell individual wheels. Especially the Slipstreams because they are becoming very hard to get so we could be stuck with an odd set for quite a while.

i have tried to run a search and apologize in advance for being a nooB. My question is--can the SubZeros work on an STi being that they are only 48mm ET?

I'm looking for a third set of wheels to mount Azenis or MX's for possible SCCA STU usage, and I'm concerned about brake clearance.

The Subzeros will not clear the Brembo brakes on the STi. The only wheels that Rota makes that will the the STi brakes are the Tarmac II (17 or 18"), SDR, and the new Torque.

Ordered off the website, lugs were on the porch the next day. Can't beat that! Just an FYI, I had to enable "use TLS 1.0" for IE in order for the websites SSL stuff to work for me. Just in case anyone else was having any problems with it.

The symptom I was having was that after I added the item I would click on the checkout button and would get a page could not be displayed error. I tried several times and even closed it out and tried a new session with the same result. I went in my options and enabled TLS 1.0 and everything worked. I suppose it could be coincidence, but I didn't change any other options. Hope that helps.

Sputnik 5, Yes, the Gunmetal finish is the same on the various styles of wheels. Gunmetal is the darkest finish next to black that Rota makes. I would have to say that they look darker in person than what the picture on the website portrays.

UPS just dropped off 4 Bronze SDRs today which makes this a dancing banana day. :banana: This color changes a lot depending on the light.

I ordered these on Saturday got them on Thursday on the East Coast which is pretty good in my book.

Andreas, those wheels are not available in 18x8. We do have 18" Tarmac II's in stock, but they are 7.5" wide. We should be getting some 18x8" Formulas in the future.

The Torques for the '05 STi are not hubcentric. Rota says that hubcentric rings are not required for proper fitment or function of the wheels. We should have the adapter rings available in the future for customers who would prefer to run them. :)

My Rota Torques arrived this afternoon and all I can is wow! They're the gunmetal variety and they look friggin amazing in the flesh. The photos you see online don't do them justice. These are going to be my winter rims so they won't be going on my car until close to Thanksgiving.

How accurate are the weight listings? I could have sworn I've heard that 17x7.5 SDRs weigh around 17.5lbs. I could be wrong though.

Rudy, Thanks for phoning in your order last week. I apologize for the site outage. The site had been live for 3+ years and it was finally time to upgrade the merchant software which wound up taking over two days. :( At least it is done now and everything should be back to normal. :)

LAC, for gold wheels people use either the black or chrome lugs. Both colors match fine so really it comes down to personal preference. Last time I checked SWRT uses chrome lugs on their gold wheels for the WRC car. :)

Gr8fulDave, Cadnium Pearl is like a light gold with a champagne tinge to it. Being a pearl color is tends to change a lot under different lights. I hope I don't get in trouble for posting the sale price publicy, but I'll give it a go anyhow :D. The CP SDR's are on special for $550 w/ free shipping! We've got two sets left and once they're gone they're gone for good.

Kevin, I doubt it. They would have to change the bolt pattern and increase the width by .5". I doubt anyone with an '05 would want to downgrade to a narrower wheel.

I have a color question on the wheels. On the Torques what would be closet to Anthacite, Hyper Black, Hyper Silver, Gunmetal or Steel Grey. I am guessing Steel Grey.

Troy, All anthracite wheels are not the same color. It can vary between the various manufacturers (ie, Prodrive, Enkei, etc.). Hypersilver would probably be the farthest from most anthracite wheels that I've seen.

Troy, you aren't be a PITA at all. The colors are consistent between the variuos styles from Rota. Yes, the gunmetal is nearly black so I would say Rota's steel grey color is probably closest to the anthracite Prodrives.
