hi,

i was going to play around with some silly lighting effects for the inside of my car. does any one know where there are wires in the front of the car (either the driver or passenger foot space) that connect to the 12v power source? i saw a few wires under there above the pedals, i was just not sure which one to screw with. thank you

cigarette lighter is 12v accessory power if that helps.

i was hoping to make the wiring more hidden. is there an easy way to get access to the wires that power the cigg lighter?

yup, pull apart your console and drop down the driver side knee bolster. A test meter or test lamp will be your best friend in the whole world at this point. Hope this helps.

actually... i haven't tried any wiring yet... dont want to screw up a good thing too quickly.

if you're doing a lot, just run a new line straight from the battery, just like for an amp (put a fuse in it too! ;) )

thanks... ill give it a shot

you can grab a pure 12v from your ignition harness which is the 2 white plugs on the bottom right after you pull the knee bloster.
