I got the impression that the Omori 52mm angled faceplate doesn't fit in the OEM pod. Is this possibly with some minor modification? Has anyone done it or seen how much cutting it would take?

Omori does sell a 45mm gauge that will fit, but it is a tight fit and will not recess in the pod as much as the stock gauge.
