so.. there's one gray wire left over that you don't know what to do with. And you know you need a wire that will tap into the e-brake (pink or green) wire. What's the question here? just connect the two things you have leftover :p
seriously, that's what I'd do if there aren't real instructions out there, but I'm sure there are. I've installed a TT but it wasn't greddy.
on another note, what in the world could be so pressing about a turbo timer that you need it installed INSTANTLY? Just curious.

I guess he did ok, since we didnt hear back from him. Anyway, here are some turbo timer install instructions. They use a Blitz tt, but they all work the same and use the same harness...

[Sorry to bump this old thread, but I sorta have a question or two myself.]
I just put mine in [Greddy TT w/ HKS FT-3 harness].
The brown wire goes to the E-Brake and the purple wire goes to the ECU.
I did notice one thing though.
Basically, the TT won't work if I have it hooked up to the ECU, but it WILL WORK when hooked up to everything else BUT the ECU, ie, the ignition and e-brake.
The RPM gauge on the TT works and the voltmeter for the battery as well.
My friend has the HKS Type Zero and his is hooked up to his speedometer wire for his ECU. I have the Greddy Full Auto and it isn't, but still seems to work.

What wire on the ECU do you tap into? And what is that for anyway... speed?

This version of TT doesn't need and ECU signals (or so it seems at least) so I am actually running it strictly connected to the ignition.
It's been doing its job for about 7 months now.
The only thing is that on -H- it seems to overcount after 2hour highway trips at 75mph/3200rpms steady - goes to over 9 minutes sometimes. That's when I just preset it to about 3 minutes.
Just FYI on the Greddy FAT the grey wire with the clear plastic is not used on USDM subarus.
