Silver-Bolt 04-01-2004, 01:11 PM I guess my request will go unanswered. Looks like Tire Rack will get my business.
RaceComp Engineering 04-02-2004, 09:28 AM sorry , didnt know you replied,...NO these wheels are not available in 17in, and def not in a 9in width. These wheels are only available in 18x8 inch for Subaru.
Sorry if my response wasnt fast enough for you, I do list a website and phone number for immediate response, as I do answer the phone from 0700 east coast to 10pm ,.........

ps. As far as your question going unanswered,..if you do a search under my personal screen name or my vendor name you'll see that I answer all or any question directed to me, within a very short time. So I'm not sure if your response was really necc. Again, sorry that I didnt respond fast enough for ....you. If you notice, on 95% of all my post I have a phone number , if you search deeper, you'll see that ALL ir not most of my customers feedback is my QUICK response and great customer service. I just delivered a set of these wheels to a customer that lives 2 hrs from me, so why would I on my own thread not respond to you?
Hope that clears up any questions you have about my response time. This isnt meant to be sarcastic , just to clearify how Racecomp Engineering's customer service operates, and how important customers are to me.
Silver-Bolt 04-02-2004, 03:32 PM Actually my original inquiry was on 3/25 (see above). You answered questions posted after mine but must have missed mine. Not relevent since they are not available in 17's. Although those are the first 18's I have ever considered. Great looking wheel.

Will come today, and I too, will be apart of the Japaneese legacy of lucky drivers who have been able to drive on this imfamous tire !!
I had three choices, Pirelli Corse, Michelin Pilot Sport Cups, or the Yoko Advan 048. I choose the 048 because, I have always wanted this tire, and I had been used to the Yoko 032 , and kinda wanted to see how this tire would feel, and its new in the USA. !!

What size 048 are you running and on which wheel?

RaceComp Engineering 04-21-2004, 04:43 PM A 225-40-18, only because of availability and because its one of the widest 225s out there,as most "R" tires cheat a little. Plus its sticky, very sticky, so alot of tire isnt really needed, esp with "R" tires, less weight too, its lighter than the 070 by 5lbs each, yet 1/10 less as wide as a Pirelli Corsa, and Michelin Pilot Cup in 235-40-18. :)

RaceComp Engineering 05-03-2004, 05:44 AM I'm not worthy of DR. but there was a guy in college named DR. DROP,..........this dude could cut springs on anything and it would turn out perfect. $ 100.00 and welsome to the wonderful world of BUMP-STOP heaven. He was good in the sense that he knew how much to cut, and 95% of the cars were like 1/2-3/4 inch drops, with really no problems,..he later went on to open a shop doing it the right way. Now he offers air suspensions and "Dubs" for SuVs for the stars up in NY. True story. Back in the day example was a Full size Suburban,..dropped like 2 inches, just enough for you to barely look at it like,......" honey?...whats differnt about that Suburban,...?......uhhhhhhh I dont know, whatta ya talkin' about,..? just look at it,...oh, ..its been lowered,..a Suburban..lol,lol...
You gotta remember when I say college I mean like 1985-1989...back in the day,...not like when some of the kids say it, and they mean like 1999,....back when Eibach had like 3 applications,..VW, Honda, and like Escort GT. Anyway, just a trip back down memory lane,.......
I know you Matt being ole skewll, you could appreciate that.

Probably for some serious dough too huh? How Much? I found these, but im unsure if theyd fit the wheels i have (factory option mesh BBS). I went on the BBS website and saw their wheel lineup. Alot of different caps. Some cf with the bbs logo, some polished, and one red with gold BBS logo.. I have the black with gold logo now, nice looking, but I was thinkin that red one might be cool with my red car, or the CF ones.
