Yeah, my glass rattles. It has to do with the fact that there is no real window frame.

I mean my 2001 RS is a coupe...any suggestion why it's rattle or around that area?
my 99 had a rattle... it ended up being the bolts to the power window assembly being loose. removed door panel, removed one bolt at a time and retightend using loc-tite.

Have someone drive in the back with you one day, and let hear where the rattle is coming from. Once they find it, use a popsicle stick to wedge in between the window and the plastic frame. This should keep the window from rattling.

There are a few innate rattles in that area. There was once a guy who pulled the plastic down in that area and put random screws into the metal from the inside. He claimed that what ever was rattling around in that area stopped, he assumed he pinned it down. There was a theory that the rattle we hear is the drain tube from the moon roof.
I've searched for a long time to find this guy and his post but I believe it's been lost to the ages.

My window never rattles, but the wind noise is my issue. I took the door panel off and found that one of my stopper bolts was almost off. I re-tightend it. Now my problem is when I shut the driver side door the window doesn't stop soon enough so it hit's the window frame. (Black piece window sit under) I just have to keep re-adjusting the stoppers til I get get it perfect. Not fun:furious:

I thought it's the drain tube too, and that's the first thing I took it out few years ago, but nope...the rattle's still there...I did found out where's the rattle about a month ago...there's a bolt which tighten the window was too tight...and I just untight it and retight it again....and the rattle is gone...I will post the pic if you guys need more info.
