How long will these prices last? I'm interested in the Whiteline ALK Comfort, but won't be able to buy until next month (already used up this months "car modification allowance")

Mike, I just ordered the Whiteline front STB for my 02 WRX. I hope that it will not interfere with the AC lines. Do you know if it will or not?

Thanks

SpeedElement

rane - It shipped out last week, let me know if you didn't get a tracking number. You will not have issues with the AC lines.

Mike,
I didn't hear back from you on the REALLY big Whiteline bars for my '99 GC car. You had mentioned back in January that you could get a race bar for front and rear...I have the turbo crossmember on my car, so I need the WRX style bar. I want the largest matched set I can get....please call me and let me know what you found out.
Thanks,
Doug Neill

Mike,
I recd. the Whiteline front STB but it does interfere pretty severely with the AC lines, unlike you said in your post. Did you guys ever actually verify whether it interferes or not?

I have had to bend the AC lines and still am having difficulty since the brackets on the end rings are not completely parallel to each other so it is difficult to attach the cross bar to the end rings.

SCOOBER - Sorry been hard getting info from them of late. They have a XRD line that in front is 27mm adjustable bar (X3001) and rear is an adjustable bar that goes from 25 - 28mm (X3002) I am awaiting pricing and availability.

shk_1010 - Got it and replied.

zosima - Yes we can $145 and within 2 weeks.

wistful - Great, USPS does get it right sometimes then ;)

rane - Yes we have installed a few in house, other than a slight nudge on the farthest piece of AC line there has been little to no interferance with the lines. You are taking the unit apart and then connecting main bar afterwards, right?

Mike,
Yes I had the unit apart when I tried to install it. I stripped one of the 3 nuts in the process, so I will buy some replacements from the 'Stealer' and try again this week-end.

Looks like some great prices! I've had nothing but good experiences with MPJ. Quick question - the Stoptech Stage 2 kit for the WRX...can it be made to work for the 2003? I know the front pads are different; would the kit be altered, and would it be the same price?

SpeedElement
04-20-2004, 04:05 PM
WRXMikeH - Stoptech has a kit for the 03 but the down side is the price is $599 not $499 due to using their own designed pads.

We can offer something in the middle using Hawk HPS pads instead of the Axxis or Stoptech's if you like.

I don't really care about the pad brand so much...could the Axxis pads normally in the kit be swapped for Hawk pads that would fit, while still keeping the price at $500? Thanks!

did you get in the taller whiteline front Strut tower bar and steering bushings?

also, is the bar $100 or $110, web site says 100, while the forum says 110 both say free shipping.

have you heard of any problems of the taller bar not clearing a Hyperflow v2 tmic? I have the regular stb that i bought from you and that does not fit with the new TMIC.
thanks

where the bracket A/C connects to the firewall, remove both bolts and put a bolt through the top hole on the bracket and thread into the bottom hole on the firewall.. It worked for me, now i need a taller bar to clear my TMIC..
hope that helps.

StarDogChampion - Sorry for the delay, we will have the bigger bars (they work fine with the TXS/Hyperflow IC) at the end of next week. Pricing is going to be $120 on the bigger bar with the typical bars being priced at $110 both prices include shipping. Steering rack bushings are on the same order.

driggity - Yes sir we have plenty instock! :)

afpdl - Sorry only the road versions for a week or two now, we have some on the next PO but it has yet to be sent in. When you say offset bushings are you referring to the STX legal bushing? if so then yes we do have those instock.
