Subie Gal 03-25-2004, 11:25 AM 40 all the way around Dunlop Sport 5000 205/55/16's Jamie Opie 03-25-2004, 12:50 PM 36 Front 33 Rear Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's, 215/45ZR17 SjYankee006 03-26-2004, 09:37 PM I'm running the recommended stock pressure of 32 front, 29 rear... on Yokohama Avid A4's 205/55/16 Is there something to be said for higher pressure that I don't know about (besides uneven tire wear)? Siper2 03-27-2004, 03:06 PM Well most manufacturers, if they tell you to put lower pressure out back, are doing so for understeer purposes. So... I keep mine at 35psi all around. 40ish is okay, but probably a little too high for heavy commuting and long trips. Good for a happy medium between autocross and daily driving, though I guess. -S2- Subie Gal 03-29-2004, 01:24 PM the dunlops i run are limited to 51psi 40 works well for them this may vary tire to tire and depends on driving style and conditions. have fun Jamie Seeing StaRS 04-22-2004, 12:00 AM Jamie what Psi would you suggest for running Dunlop SP's in AutoX or some hard playful driving on a weekend? Joe 2.5rsCoupe@dfw 04-22-2004, 12:07 PM Id rather have over steer then under steer so im running 32 in front 36 in back Farabomb 04-23-2004, 03:54 PM 32 all around for street driving, 35-39 f 35-45r for trackdays/auto-x. Hondaslayer 04-23-2004, 08:01 PM On my RS I ran 32 front 42 rear Hawk296 04-24-2004, 01:36 AM 95'L 205/40/17 Kuhmo MX I run 40 PSI front, 42 PSI rear. Very neutral, lets the rear rotate when you lift and keeps the sidewalls from rolling over. |
