If tire replacement price is your only issue thenthe 17x8's are ok.

You can still fit the 225/45/17 tires on the 17x8 wheels.

$1390, but I don't think the 245/45/17's will with on a legacy outback. 235/50/17 or 225/55/17 is the recomended size for that vehicle.

We still do not have any pictures of that combo yet.

the difference is the width. If you are not going to be doing a lot of tracking drive then it may not be nessasary to have a 8" wide wheel.

doh, i ment the look of the wheel, but like you said its just the width.

For the time being houston only has cool SCCA racing at the blimp field. If only they planned a better track than an oval for houston :(. hahaha.

Sputnik 5 - At this time there are no royal colors on the torques and we are not aware of any plans for them, I would say to check back in about 3-4 weeks though.

soundwave - Wheel/Tire packages usually do not include lugs. Check your PM's though.
