I am thinking of getting the new Meguiars NXT Generation Wax but was thinking if I should get the Spray Wax or the Tech Wax?

Obviously, the Spray Wax is much easier to apply but would the tech wax produce better effect?

NXT is a good one step and I still think the Gold Class is good for the carnuba while NXT is a polymer.

So, is Gel/Liquid Wax more superior than those Spray wax?

spray doesn't last that long, about a week (that is if you park out side, like me) and you got to do it again. just do it the old fashion way. WAX ON WAX OFF :D

NXT goes on and off like butter anyways just give it time to set up.

Which one would people recommend for a better shine/protection?

Meguiars Gold Glass paste carnuba wax OR the NXT Tech wax?

Depends what you want out of the wax.

Meguiar's Gold Class looks pretty incredible right after you put it on. In fact, it looks almost identical to Zaino after application. Very bright shine, with a ton of reflection. I personally feel that it has more depth than Zaino or other polymer systems, as Gold Class is not pure carnauba or polymer. However, where Gold Class suffers is the durability. I've never gotten more than 1-2 months out of Gold Class before I thought that the wax was deteriorating. Also, Gold Class is a dust magnet because of the oils that make it shine.

Meguiar's NXT is a polymer based sealant that will last longer than Gold Class. There are a ton of threads about it on www.autopia.org , and the opinions are divided. To be fair, Meg's Gold Class doesn't get great reviews over there either.

I plan to try NXT sometime in the next few months. However, I believe my current setup is working just fine:

dookiebob Nice shine, I personally go with Klasse AIO with Klasse SG then topped with S100 but that may be overkill for some.

Actually, you're using the same stuff that I used for the picture. Nowadays, I don't use Klasse SG... too hard to use effectively. I use Platinum Ultimate Paint Protection (PUPP) instead.

I don't top with S100 anymore, because I like to layer the PUPP. However, I think S100 adds a pop that no polymer sealant is able to do.

my gold class does not last long at all, after 3 weeks (i wax my car every 3 weeks) its starting not to bead. I will deffinately try either the paste or NXT wax next time.
