Ben, I'm sorry, but the Samco hoses only come in the 3 piece kit. If I split them up I would have 50 of the BOV return hoses laying around because everyone just wants the "Y" hose and the coupler. :)

No KB SS's yet for the FXT's. Next time I reorder the shift levers I will definitely be getting some of the FXT shifters though. :)

Ben, I'll let you know as soon as the FXT shifters are here. There is still a lot of shifters here so I probably won't be reordering them for a little while yet.

John, Chances are it'll handle more PSI than your engine. :) The kits do come with a variety of springs and shims so you can make adjustments if needed.

Hey Dave, Just thought I'd post a bump here and let you know I just ran a new record time here at high altitude for the 13G turbo on your down pipe.

I popped off a 13.379@101.83 run at 5800 ft, which blew away the previous 13.5 record, which had been unchallenged for over a year. Also this is the first and only 100+ mph run on a 13G car up here.

For those of you at sea level, using the NHRA correction factors for turbocharged cars that corrects to a 12.980@104.69 equivalent pass on the stock Mitsu 13G turbo.

Thanks, for the fine piece Dave, your down pipe was worth almost 2 mph when I put it on last fall.

Does the Helix flex uppipe have another "pipe" inside the flex section that actually routes the exhaust gases. Haven't seen one in person & wondering about premature flex section failure & those pieces being sucked into the turbo... :(

wrx_guy02, there is a corrugated flex section within the braided steel outer covering. It looks similar to the PDE flex section. I have never heard of a flex section failing and getting injested into the turbo. I use the Helix pipe on my car without any worries about it coming apart and going into the turbo. :)

SubZombie, Honestly, probably never. They have such a bad rap on the forums that we will probably be dropping them from our lineup once the ones on hand are gone. Just for the record, I think that the intake is a great piece. I've had one on my car for over two years now and haven't had a single problem with it. In fact, it helped me to a 13.3@99 with only a up pipe, TBE, Samco IC hoses, and a peak manifold pressure of 15PSI.

Hey guy

I bought the regular Kartboy hangers from you a few months back. I guess I have been itching to do this for a while but was just too lazy. I got a chargespeed rear bumper and the exhaust tip is right up against it and it is kind of cutting it up. Also when I shift hard or something the exhaust kind of hits something (probably moves against the rear bumper). When reversing it rattles a little under load.

Do you think LONG exhaust hangers will solve any of these, at least getting it away from my bumper? Would I need all 4 or just the 2 on the muffler? Thanks

Hey what would be the power difference between buying a catted PDE downpipe and replacing both cats with one high flow versus getting an Oakos short downpipe and keeping just the stock 3rd cat power wise? I'm trying to figure out if it is worth the extra scratch.

Dave, Theoretically, there should be a power advantage to having a full three inch pipe with a high quality cat as opposed to a 2.5" down pipe and the stock third cat pipe. However, in actual practice and at mild to moderate power figures the difference probably isn't huge.

I was wondering if there is a huge difference between the helix catted DP and the PDE catted DP? I noticed theres a huge price difference that's why I wanted to know. Is there a DP that you recommend that gives power gains and has a cat? Thanks.

The Helix catted DP's are brand new and we haven't even sold one yet, much less gotten any feedback on them. If Helix's reputation means anything, I'm sure people are going to love them.

We have sold quite a few of the PDE catted DP's and everyone seems to love them so far. No complaints what so ever. PDE has a fabulous reputation for producing very high quality products, and the price reflects it.

I would feel comfortable running either one on my WRX so I'd probably go with the Helix due to the price. :)

How do both PDE downpipes not trigger a cel and not require an electronic cel fix? I have an 04 sti and want to put one of these on my vehicle! Thanks.

The PDE pipes use a built in "Mechanical CEL fix" to prevent CELs. The mech CEL fix relocates the rear O2 sensor slightly out of the direct exhaust gas flow which alters the readings just enough to trick the ECU into thinking that everything is just fine.
