Does anyone have or know where I can buy STi tail lights for a 98 wagon?? I bought 2 but they're not the right size. Now I have these and don't know where to buy the other ones!

Any suggestions?

=D

Sounds like you're looking for the red/clears for a GF (Impreza wagon), correct?

They're tough to find. They come up for sale occasionally, and you may have better luck asking about them in the impreza-specific section of the site, but ISR and Teagues have them sometimes.

This technically isnt "old school" It belongs perhaps in the gen 1 Impreza forum (1993-2001)

So it may end up relocating just to warn you :)

I think Rallispec was advertising some and some member offered me a set but I already have them so I didn't need them.

Post something in the wanted forum or check the private classified forum.

Good luck

Yeah, the ones I'm going for are the red clear ones. The ones I have now barely fit on the wagon I have. It seems like there are a few different styles for them. I need the ones that fit the 1998 Subaru Impreza GT Wagon from Europe. I was told there is a slight difference in the American and European versions. But nevertheless, the thing is that it would need to be shipped to Europe, you know? Is there any way for me to find out the cost of the shipping? As far as part number goes, I really don't know! This is the thing: I get an email back from Teagues and it said that since they are rare and don't sell a lot, they don't put them on the web site. So until now, I haven't been able to find any pictures or part numbers for the lights I am looking for. According to the email I got back from Teagues, they said it was very rare to see them on the web sites! So....I'm guessing they're hard to find and I won't be that lucky! If there is anything you can find out please let me know! Ok? Any emails, please send to strogoloro@hotmail.com

Thank you so much

something like boxer 4 eningeering or something to that.....

boxer 4 engineering = teague's

MRT used to be able to get them.
Last i heard they were obsolete...
And i no longer see them on MRT's site.

Your best bet may be to put the word into the ear of one of the importers of broken JDM cars (for parts/resale) and see if they can locate a set for you - someone like Chaste automotive or GR8Wheels...

i'll dig around and see what i can find.

I don't think this website ships outside of the USA. I need it shipped to Europe. And if it does ship, how much would it be?

thanks

Wouldn't it be easier to find the parts in a European junkyard, if that is the final destination for the tails, especially since they had the GF8 STi in Europe? I would check on http://www.scoobnet.co.uk

I could be wrong but I don't believe there were ever any EDM GF8 STi wagons sold. If there were any, they were all imported.

Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen a pic of a GF8 STi wagon in mainland Europe.

Where are you located Nuno?

About two months ago I got a quote through Canada Post to fly via air, a set of red/clear GF taillights to Prague, CZ... the buggers wanted $770CAD... which is $572USD!!!

Ground shipping (probably through a port of entry like Rotterdam) went for about $74USD and would take an estimated 6 weeks.

Expedited ground went for something like $150USD if I remember correctly.

In other words, it's expensive no matter how you cut it... then of course there's other costs that you have to incur once the shipment hits your country.

I'd try the French, Swiss, Italian, German, Dutch, UK boards before I try North America if I were you.

I sold my mint condition lights to someone local here in Canada for about $230CAD IIRC.

That's the best site I've been to in awhile. Little pricey, but not bad. Everything I have wanted, is there at my finger tips.
