Two week old Forester (500 miles). Transmission oil dripping from left rear of transmission oil pan. It appears to be coming from a banjo bolt (at the end of an oil line) on the driver's side of the transmission. Since I do not yet have a shop manual, can someone tell me where this oil line comes from, and what it does? I am thinking of just tighteneing it up and maybe changing the two copper washers. What is the torque on this banjo bolt? On the other hand maybe just let dealer fix it ...

warranty....what happens if you over torque and break something.

Let them get greasy.
