These TWR Brake lines good for the 00 Legacy??

Prestige Motorsports

SolbergWRCfan,

Shipping on two sets of pads is generally about $10. Unfortunately I sold my two sets of 04 rears yesterday. I have updated the post to reflect this.

00NewfieGT,

The lines will work on 2000 and up Legacys, but the rears on the new legacy have an extra line on each side that would not be replaced. You can still use all four of the regular lines, but you would still have the short on each side in the rear using a regular hose.

They will fit the Subaru 4 piston Calipers. I have seen no difference in quality between these and the Goodridge lines, except that you can get the goodridge lines in colors.

Will the TWR brakes fit behind stock wrx wheels? I thought I had read that somewhere but your post says 17inch wheels....

Prestige Motorsports

Snoody J,
The brake lines do come with all 4 lines. The price is $85 shipped anywhere in the continental US.

V Rex,
TWR has two kits using their 4 piston caliper. The one I have in stock is the 332 mm rotor that requires 17 inch wheels. I can get the 310mm rotor kit, which uses the same 4 piston caliper as the larger kit, and Stock WRX wheels will clear it.

The price is the same, and if you are interested, I can probably get a kit shipped directly to you.

Do you carry the Carbotech CT471 pads? If so, how much for those and a set of CT721 pads shipped to 52411? Thanks,

Hotrodguru,

I emailed you a link to pictures of the brake kits.

I will be taking some photos of the complete kits as they come later today if I can get away from the phone for a few minutes.

No, and thanks for reminding me, I need to call my supplier and ask where the heck the stuff is.

The 22-26 heavy duty mounts are still in Australia unfortunately.

The TWR front kit and the rear Upgrade rotor kit is now installed on the dealership car and I must say the braking feels phenominal now. The brakes easily overpower the street tires. I can't wait to see what they feel like with the new Hoosiers this weekend.

Prestige Motorsports

I keep both the Motul 5.1 (which is equivilant to the ATE) and the RBF 600 in stock. Price on the 5.1 is $5.95 a bottle. The RBF 600 is $12.95. Call 1-888-854-4293

I don't have any of the Helix bars yet, as a matter of fact, I am down to one wagon front bar and that is it as far as sway bars go at the moment.

How am I supposed to keep stock when you people keep buying it? :D :D

Im assuming these SS lines will fit on a 2000 RS (front and rear). How much difference for shipping to Canada (Toronto mainly), that is, if you do ship to Ontario?

Thanks

Prestige Motorsports
05-07-2004, 11:42 AM
I could do the lines to you in Ontario for the same $85, if TWR has them in stock. They will drop ship for me.

Kent, I want to thank you for the excellent service! Just installed the SS lines, Bobcats front pads, and speed bleeders (using Ultimates in the back and Valvoline SynPower fluid) on my 03 WRX. General impression - OMG! This setup makes a world of difference - for about $250 spent I can lock my brakes again ;)

- Very happy customer with a big grin on his face
:D

JC,
The BBK does include stainless lines for all four corners.

GottaREX,
Aside from the lines included in the kits, I am still sold out of the line kits.

C2H50H,
I am glad you like the settup.
