Who is the guy in here that has the black early gen Miata. I think its one of you in Ft. Collins. But anyway, I was wondering where you got it and how much you paid for it. I am abandoning the turbo kit on my Subie and am going to buy a Miata instead. I still plan on keeping the RS though. Any info that could help my search for a 92-93 Black Miata with decent miles and good shape would be awesome. Lookin to spend around $3-4500. Thanks!

a good 92-93 will go for $4k-$7k. I got mine for $5800 and it's in very good shape. Mechanically it might actually be more sound than my RS was.

I reccomend www.miata.net. Check the classified section and you should be able to find a good example of a 92-93. I had to drive to texas to get mine, but it was worth it. I love my car.

Thanks a lot for the help Dolphin. This is my summer project, hopefully I will the proud owner of a 93 Black Miata by August. I'm gunna be patient and hopefully I'll find a nice one with lower mileage and no accidents, etc. I have finally realized that it just isn't worth it to dump a ton of money into my RS anymore. Miata here I come!

yeah, i came to the same realization. RS is a great car but it's a lot cheaper/easier to go fast in the miata.
