as much as i love it, its gotta go. i have a new transmission and there is no way i can keep it. i know this isnt the for sale forum but if you want an "unbreakable" transmission, let me know.

I have heard they are only good for about 20k before you need to replace them. Is this true??

they will last 20 to 30K depending on how smooth you drive. after that the gears need to be rebuilt, not the entire box. I would not suggest one if you plan on doing a LOT of highway driving or you would spend a good bit of cash getting new gears every year.
