I'm working on getting the EU spec headlamp washers for my RS. For a washer bottle I know I can use one from a legacy outback. It has 2 pumps in it and I'm sure it will fit. (I know because I took out the one from my wife's OB http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif Well there is a harness plug that is white just behind the battery and in front of the washer bottle. I'm pretty sure this is used for the rear washer on the OBS or the rear wipers for the over seas cars. Does anyone have a wiring diagram that can trace that plug into the cabin? I'd like to tap into those wires for the switch if possible. If I get everything sorted out I'll post the install procedure on the AZ Scoobie site.

So far I can get the washer bottle and T connector. I'm working on the washer jets and the switch. I would like to start thinking about the wiring though.

TIA

Well Krapflaps, I swear it looks the same as the one that's plugged into the second pump on my wife's OB. Now I have to get out my Mulitmeter and check. Well if that's true though I can cut one line and run it to a relay that will power the pump. So I can use it still http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif

Thanks,

Tom,

We must be talking about different plugs. I just checked and there was no power with the key in the ignition position. I looked again and it is the identical plug that is in the Outbacks second pump. I'd still be interested in any wiring diagrams if available. I have a Helms book for the Legacy but I don't think it will help me on the RS.
