Hi.. I just bought used JDM headlights and I am TOTALLY confused about how this is going to work. I have ordered some harnesses so theres no worry about that.. I just am worried about what I'm going to have to buy to make these work in terms of headlights, wiring, etc. I remember a picture floating around before of the back of the lights and what everything is but I can't find it anymore... so.. please help me identify what is going on back here.

What are all these things exactly that I circled. I know what most of them are but I would like you guys to clarify it. I especially don't know where the highs are.. ah..

the hi beams are the biggest circle "HB3"

it's a 9005 bulb

here a little bit of info......

ok the lite with the hole is of course for the lo-beam (looks like the previous owner had HID"S) its gonna be a bit of work to get them going since the wires have been cut off.

the brown plug type deal towards the center is for the your lo- beams (1 wire for power the other ground) if I remember correctly..

the green plug to the bottom left is for your turn signals and parking lite. this is the only plug n play deal on these lites.

the 2 silver like circles on the the lhs of the housing and bottom right are adjusters for the lo-beam

Hey I figured everything out just by semi-installing them. I ordered a plug and play harness for the hi/lows and now all I have to do is order low-beam bulbs.

BUT.. I don't know what I'm supposed to do about the low-beams. The harness I ordered converts 9007 to 9005 and H1.. but those green/black wires are cut so what the hell will I plug the low-beam BULB into? Blah. :(

I got everything under control except connecting the low beam connector to the bulb. I take it what I'm going to have to do is add some wire to where the guy I bought them from cut to the bulb, correct?

Or what is that "special subaru connector" you have?

That is a special Subaru H1 connector. on your lights though it is cut. so you will have to wire it directly to the bulb.

Hey.. in that last picture of yours.. the connector on the end of the green wire, is that home-made or did it come on your headlights?

If it's OEM then I guess I'll have to search for an H1 socket/connector or something.. or could I just solder it right to the bulb?

Just an insulated female spade connector (if we are talking about the same pic)...
