hey, i recently tried the whole, paint you're gauge bezel thing on my 98 l . .and while the gauge cluster was out, i replaced all of the 194 bulbs in the back (5 i think) to hyper white LED 194s, made by eurolite. . .and the resulting blue-ish white hue is awesome, i love the look, but now my low fuel light is always on, is it probably just glare from the led, or did i knock a cover out of the way by accident ?
anyone have any ideas how to remmidate this ?

Is the light on when your guage lights are on? Or is it on all the time?

it's only on when my gauges are on. . .
and i ran my car low on gas on prupose, and no change in gas pump symbol illumination. . .still lighted blue/white. . .not a hint of orange as if another bulb came on. . .what should i do ? just cover it and watch the levels ?

you must have knocked off the plastic colored cover. Now the lights from the LED's are illuminating the gas light. I am willing to bet that if you take the guages out again, I will be right. It not that hard to remove the guages. Just check it out.
