Just bought a new '04 XT, and I have a question re: the heating system. I run it in the manual mode, (would have preferred the simpler (and probably more reliable) manual system), and noticed an annoyed characteristic (or fault): upon warmup, the air is very hot, and I have to turn the temperature control almost completely off, (counterclockwise) to get it to be 'tepid', or comfortably warm. After some time, I can turn it up to the midpoint, and maintain this same temperature. I don't know if this "change" is related merely to the passage of time, or the addition of me fiddlin' with the controls, as I can't keep my hands off the controls long enough to draw any conclusions.

Is anyone else experiencing this?
