IS it worth it to drop $325 for an HID kit for my EDM STI projectors or should I just run 4000K Xenon bulbs?

Is it brighter with HID? I have 5000K Catz bulbs now and they look good but arn't bright when on the road. Looks like i'm driving with flash lights

well, alll those bulb replacements are just for show, and they are not really putting out more light. but a properly set up HID will be realy bright, and not blind everybody. its worth the money.

When I first got my EDM lights I was severely disappointed in the projectors. I have brightstar HIDs on mine now. I'll have to take a picture of them.

HIDs all the way man. I have some in mine so I'm biased. :D

Make use of your correct beam patterns and projectors and get the real deal - HIDs man. You will never look back no more.

Nice pic , Thanks. I am going to go with a kit. 4100K Philips set up. Not cheap but I feel comfortable with the quality. Brightstar was my second choice. McCulloch- I heard bad things about them . HIDforum.com is a good source. Some of those people are way serious about HID.
