I have STI projectors. Which kit did you use and how did you run the wires into the assembly? I noticed some come with rubber grommets and some appear not to. If it has a rubber grommet that woub be easy. I have done that with several other cars. But what if the kit had no hughe rubber grommet to stick in the back of the H1 cover? Can the HID capsule wiring be cut?
Only people who have this mod need reply. No speculation please.

Thank you. I thought that was how it was done. I have done that to other cars. But some of the kits I see do not show the rubber grommet. So I don't know what to do there. I love the way the lights look. Wow. excited now.

i got a Polarion kit in mine from http://www.xenonfactory.com/ . ALL philips components from ballast to bulb. and it comes with a wiring harness to draw power from the battery. More expensive than other kits.. but definately quality stuff. everyone on the hid forums loves this kit.

i had to dremel a hole into the back of the plastic cover thing on the EDM lights. and then everything else is just plug and play. i just grabbed the low beam power not from the OEM subaru connector, but from the h1 edm connector that normally goes direct to the bulb.

Yes I will either go with that or the one from xexondepot.com. It is a philips kit too.

from what i know all phillips kits are not really phillips and they are actually cheap bulbs with remade phillips ballasts... the only way you can get phillips is from stealing them from a bimmer
