Hi guys
I have a 2000 GC8, stock suspension. Will putting 225/45/17 on it give me rubbing problems?
Thanks in advance

not necessarily. depends on the offset of the wheels.

I have ET48 Rota and 215/45/17 ES100 on a stock suspension 00RS and I have slight rubbing (I know by sticking masking tapes on the fender rubber strips. I can see some rubber marks on the inner surface of the rubber strip (on the tape). None on the underside of the strips)
I think if I have ET50-52 I would have no rubbing at all with 215/45/17.
I checked out someone's 00RS with coilover (-2" drop), STI BBS wheels and 225/45/17 tires and all he did was rolling the fender slightly
I am debating whether I would need to roll my fender (major league baseball style) soon :)
