this is weird... today I called up Sears trying to order some new kicker azenis sports 225/50/16 cause my stocker tires are getting worn... and they say Falken doesn't make 225/50 size anymore, is this true guys?

okay, so what's a solution to this..? i'm in the same boat, and i want the aziens sports. the 215/45 won't be enough for the load i'm guessing?

You pick from the 205/55/16 or the 215/45/16. The 215s will work just fine except your speedo will read high and your rpms will be a little higher at crusing speeds.

negative. Wouldn't be correct for the load requirements. The question now becomes is it better to go with a 225/50 es100 yoko, or do the stock size on the aziens..

Azenis in stock size will stick better then 245 es100s.

do you mean 225/50's?

Are you saying this bc it's a lot better of a tire, even with a smaller contact patch?

yes, it's most definitely the better tire.

Yuck no Yokohama ES100s for me. They're too much of an all season tire and loud. I have them on my sister's car and while they're much better than stock, for the same price range Azenis would be better. Otherwise I'd already be on ES100s. My solution was this: Kuhmo MX 225/50 from tirerack and they are getting here tomorrow. (Sears waited 4 days before letting me know that Azenis wouldn't be coming) :)

I mean the 205 azenis have more grip then a 225 es100 or even a 245 es100. It has alot better tread design for the dry and a stickier compound.

If noise is a consideration, you probably won't like the Azenis. It's like a love -- hate thing.

Noise:devil: or Grip:D

Very true. I will take the increased noise for the great grip of the azenis.

Noise level is not an issue for me as long as the tire performs well. However, my sister is not as much of a spirited driver as I wish she is, so I had wanted to get her something grippy with comfort in mind. The Yokohama's didn't grip to what I thought they would, and they were noisy on the highway as well, so it was disappointing.
