I know pepole have put 18s and lowered their STis but any clue if I will have problems with this setup? 5zigen FNO1R-C 18x8.5 +48mm offset with 225/40/18 Pirelli PZero Nero tires. Then tanabe springs 1.3" drop in front 1.0" drop in the back. Think i'll be safe from wheel rub with this setup? The rims are already on the car and I have the springs just waiting to install them.

i have 18" 225s on my 02 wagon and dont really get any rubbing. My MRT springs only drop the front and back 30mm though (a little over an inch).

Ok thanks, I'm really only worried about the rear. There is plenty of room on the front for the 1.3" drop

I'm runnin the same size wheel/tire combo and lowered on Eibach's w/ stock struts. I have no rubbing issues at all. Tho I'm in an 02 WRX and I've heard that tire sizes do change from manufacturers, I think you will be ok.
