ok, heres the problem im facing...

i bought just regular 15 inch motegi mr7's...they should be here tomorrow, BUT after reading up on them, i found this out...

the motegi's offset is only 35 mm......now, i read that the stock subaru rims have the 55 mm offset....and it also said that if you go to low, you may get some dangerous rubbing.

i plan to use the basic tires i have on it now (the 205/60/r15)...can anyone tell me if these motegi's are going to give me grief tomorrow?:(

Yes. Get a wheel with the proper offset. It may cause rubbing and even if it didn't it will cause other longterm problems such as premature wearing out of your wheel bearings. I would recommend reading the excellent "sticky" at the top of the tire and wheel forum by North Ursalia about wheel offset.

See if you can swap them back for something with an offset of 48 or better...

45mm is the minimum offset for a '97 Outback Sport .... the OE wheel is a 15x6 ET45
