My fuel pressure is dropping as the car gets warm. I checked the guage at the FPR and its 40psi When the incar guage reads 25psi. It later drops to 12.5 and my idle goes to **** and my car bogs.

I changed fuel pump to Walbro 255 and it has a new fuel filter. Any advice?

Thanks.

just throwing out ideas:

vaccume leak once hoses warm up losses vaccume

where did you mount your sensor .. they should read the same

you know jaxx, im new here, and you show me much love. Thanks. Its very strange indeed because:

Right before my pressure drops i hear clicking (like a relay) underneath the dash on my left side. Then it will stumble and die at idle.

However, once warm, my car starts smoother..

Link crank enrich set to 60.

Thanks..

btw, ill check for sensor mounts tomorrow. I dont know, i bought the car like this..

have you checked the fuel pump relay?...that could be the cause of the clicking...

yeah the clicking that might explain it .. i thought the usdm wrx pump was the only 3 speed pump that all the others were single speed

iirc
usdm pump has three speeds
100% (startup and wot)
66
33

the differnt readings still don't make sense
is your pressure sensor on the right fuel hose(the one after the fuel filter)

Ok, so I pulled the vacuum off of the fuel pressure regulator and it idles great, But runs super rich. Ill check on fuel pressure sensor in a few. bad FPR?

it possible
i dont' remember if it is a 2 or 2.5 bar FPR
so at key on not yet fired .. should be 26 psi or 32 psi

then drop once vaccume is established
the raise again once you make boost

are you fuel lines hooked up correctly

it raises at boost just fine.
it is 26psi at start (cold)

Then 1/2 that when warm...

check your fuel pressure regulator, to my experience the pumps don't just pitter patter they go out altogether. I'm havin the same issues but havin a hard time findin an FPR for less than 150
