after doing numerous runs and logs with the deltadash I'm curious as to why my AVCS system reacts differently on each side of the motor. it seems as though the right side is more aggressive in higher RPMS and the left is more aggressive in lower RPMS.

maybe its teechnology that was pulled from the twin scroll motors, but it would seem unlikely to me that if SOA was going to change the ECU coding that would have made it more even.

Brad:

It is meant to work that way...

question is why though?

First off I'll say, I have no clue what I'm talking about.

That being said, may it have something to do with engine temps. As I recall there is a problem people occasionally run into with the third cylinder overheating, because of the location of turbo or exhaust plumbing? Maybe its to keep temps down on that side of the engine?

Edit: I guess with the turbo on the right side of the car, my theory doesn't make much sense.

Cyl 3 has the greatest chance of running lean, which is why it tends to be the one with heat issues.

I saw this phenom w. YugoTuner, so I'm curious as to the madness behind it as well...
