I'm interested in a SCCA legal roll bar for my STI. I'e heard negative things about "Autopower". Does anyone have any experience with any make?

Autopower is the only Solo1 legal pre-fabbed rollbar that I know of. Someone will probably mention Saftey Devices or Sparco (or maybe even Cusco) but all are inferior or not legal.
Autopower makes excellent bolt-in cages/rollbars for the money.
Your next step up (in cost too) would be to get a local cage builder to build a custom bar.

You could probably get a local shop to make the roll bar and have it built to where you upgrade it later too a full cage.

Dunno about their Subaru bars, but I have an Autopower bolt-in in my Miata and it's great. Good welds, good fit, solid design.

Sweet, a new verb! I SCCA my car frequently too, but I'm looking forward to NASA it soon! ;)

What are you looking to compete in with your car? Hill Climbs? ProSolo?
