does anyone know how many washers i need to add for the sti on the turboxs type h bov??? Also, how do you take off the thing to add the washers? Does the top red part come off? If so how?

Red part?

I've seen a few valves in different colors being offered as TurboXS valves. It's funny because we clear anodize them. The ones offered in colors are a knock off of our part.

Our valve looks like this

If it’s a TurboXS valve the top screws off and you can insert washers into the piston. I would suggest you pack at least 6 washers in the valve for use with an STI.

So are you telling me that any colored bov type h is a fake? BTW, i meant purple...not red...

There were some OLD school Bov-h valves that had a different color top, but they have not been manufactured in over 3 years to my knowledge.

If you bought it recently it's likely a fake.
