Every time I watch this video I am in awe of the absolute commitment and confidence that Vatanen and Unser show. Granted we all can't be WRC champions or Indy 500 winners, but it just amazes me.

Maybe its age catching up with me;)

any other recommended vids?

That video still puts chills down my spine. I know I wouldn't want to be going that fast near those cliffs.

Certainly at that level -- no guts no glory.

I respect the drivers that push themselves and their vehicles to the edge in single car qualifying, time trials, hill climbs, etc. For most of us, pushing a car to the edge is a personnal and well as financial consideration -- emphasis on financial.

Incredible video to say the least.

I may have the guts...but I may not have the skill! or either for that matter...

i think im almost more scared and consciencious of the financial risk than that of my own health when doing track days. i suppose some day i should change that. of course at vatanen's and unser's speeds and sponsorship levels, my pucker factor would make me fully aware of the full consequences of a small mistake.
