hey guys, i was hoping you could help me out. All of the sudden i am having unusual problems and i am afraid it might be the transmission going?

I have an 02 wrx automatic
with a utec running a default stage 4 map
vf34 turbo
turboxs intercooler
gfb blow off valve
irridium plugs
uppipe midpipe downpipe with cats
turboxs boost controller
ram pod air intake (think its a unifilter)

the car has been running great for a long time and all of the sudden the pick up is very very slow. When the car hits 5000 rpm the cell llight starts flashing and the car starts bucking. Some one suggested that i got bad gasoline? but i have know gone through a whole tank of gas and have used an octane booster?

any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

you NEED to post a log.

if you haven't logged the event, then you NEED to do that first.

without knowing the conditions surrounding the knock, you're shooting blanks.

Id bet its your plugs.

Sounds like they may be shot, and its causing some hesitation. Its nothing new for those plugs.

if it was the plugs wouldnt the problem happen at all speeds and rpms? Be consistent?
But at this point it cant hurt to check them out too

The Iridiums are known for crapping out.

FWIW how many miles are on them? And as Ken said a log will help mucho :)
