Some of you may recall the Guatemalan event where Subaru promotes a race of stock STis to promote the brand in Guatemala. Details of the race event can be found here. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread...light=guatemala
Last year, the tropical conditions caused many of the cars to run at excessively high temperatures. After considering many possible solutions to solve the problem for this race this year, the Crucial Racing Systems 160 degree F thermostats were chosen to be installed in all of the STis with great results.
It’s nice to know the benefit of our fail-safe thermostat is now race proven. For obvious reasons, the question I can’t answer is which Japanese automobile manufacturer paid for the thermostats.
