I was thinking of reflashing my 4EAT WRX with ECUTEK but i have not seen any info on it to see what kind of difference it makes on a 4EAT.

Anyone here with a 4EAT had ECUTek done? Were you impressed with the results and was it worth the money (it is pretty expensive)

For those that have had it done, knowing what you know now, would you have had it done?

i have a vishnu ecutek reflash on 4eat .. no problems at all! do you have any other mods? i had the tune/reflash done after installing the basic exhaust up/down/cat back and intercooler hoses .. car ran OK before the reflash - but was better than stock and way up on power after ..

I have a 04 4EAT WRX with the ECUtek reflash. The reflash was done by Clark and Mike of Kingpin Performance (AZScooby on this board.)

The Reflash was my first mod, and the difference was obvious and well worth it.

Westminster Speed and Sound (Westminster, MD) has a reflash tailored for automatics

the actual ECU is the same for an automatic or a manual. the automatic car has a TCU that control the transmission. the reflash will work just fine in an automatic.

AF411/423, amongst others, Rom files are for automatics or manuals.

You'll be fine. Dyno tuning an auto maybe a different story.... but it will work regardless.

say an '03 is flashed as an '02 for map switching purposes (not available for '03 at the time) is there anything to watch out for?
