Does anyone know where I can get an EGT resistor (I don't know if the terminology is correct, but I'm not sure what else to call it) for my 2002 WRX Wagon with EcuTeck? Currently, due to being cat-less, my EcuTeck is reading that my EGT is too low at cruising speeds on the highway and I need a resistor to prevent the Check Engine light from coming on when this happens. Thanks for your help.

which side uppipe or downpipe? Uppipe is just a 2.2Kohm resistor in place of the sesnor (if I am remember right) downpipe is a little more tricky.. it's a small circuit w/ a resistor and capacitor in it... or just use one of the mecahnical bung fixes.

Uppipe. The guy who tunes my car with ECUTek said it was only a matter of disconnecting the sensor and soldering a resistor to it and that I could probably do it myself. Do you think that this is the case if I use a 2.2Kohm resistor? Are you familiar with ECUTek also? Thanks again.

Yep, you don't even need to solder the resistor anywhere. Just inclip the sensor from the connector and push the leads of the resistor into the connector plug & seal it up w/ electrical tape.
You might aslo want to look into getting the mechanical adapter for your rearO2 sensor so that you don't get a cat inneficiency CEL.
2.2KOhm 1/2W resistor from Radio Shack. They're like 5 for $1. Ecutek has nothing to do with the CEL. The ECU is detecting the low temp and reports it as a CEL. Unplug the connector and insert the resistor and tape it up as suggested by zaxrex. You may want to remove the EGT sensor from the uppipe and plug it with a bolt. You can get a M12x1.25 bolt from Pep Boys. It will be in the oil drain bolt section.
