I remember seeing some ppl who made their own "cold air box" with aftermarket intakes. From what I saw I think they used sheet metal and some plexi-glass on top. I was wondering if you have some time, could you post either instructions/measurments of your project? With summer comming my car is running slow, so I am hoping that that would help. You might want to try making a card board mock-up and then using it as a template for the one out of sheet metal.
