okay, i am sure that i am not the only one that has seen this product. go to www.tornadoair.com, (http://www.tornadoair.com,) and see this. has anyone tried this product, do you think it actually works, and would this solve the problem with the pre-Y2k MAF Blowing problem? imagine this thing with a cold air intake and the Stromung( spelling??) dual tip and fuel computer thing. would this product require us MY2K to get a fuel computer thing?

I have read reports on that tornado thing and I heard that it doesn't do anything for your car. Just another useless piece of crap they are trying to sell. Save your money or if your prefer to spend the money anyway, email me and I'll tell you how to send the check to me. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/biggrin.gif

SCC, of some other mag like that, did a report on that product a while back. They found no improvements of any sort.

Looks like an air restriction to me.

Their website blows for technical info.

Looks like just another way to spend money on something uselss.

The link above has a comma after it, which breaks it.

Here's a clean one: http://www.tornadoair.com/

I have had one for years now and I found no performance improvements. Maybe if the intake air speed was faster I could see it may work better.

it might have helped in cars with a lot of bends in the intake. but the rs (at least the 98) has only one 135° bend (sorta) after the mas. Not much to improve on there.

EDIT:
i meant 225° sorry http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/biggrin.gif

I had one on my Explorer (OHV 4.0). It didn't seem to do anything. No change in sound on the intake or exhaust. No change in gas mileage. No apparent change in power. Just a waste of time and money. Same results that I had after installing a $50 K&N filter. Waste of time and money.

You should email that to them as a suggestion for improvement of their product!
