I've always wanted an Impreza Remote Control car, but I can never seem to find one. Well, that's not true, I see a whole bunch of full-on race models that cost hundereds or dollars, but I don't feel like spending that much money. I'd rather put it towards a exhaust.

Anyway my point is this: Does anyone know where i could get my hands on a model impreza R/C car? My price range is at around $100, so all I need is something simple.

Thanks,

-Mike-

For about $150, you can get a Kyosho Mini-Z racer...one of the body styles is that of an Impreza. They're only about 6 inches long and they supposedly are fairly quick and a lot of fun. The main problem is that you can't drive them outside unless it's a really smooth surface, and of course no AWD...

I'm looking to buy one of these myself, once I have some money to blow.

I agree with Brat if you want to buy one buy Hpi. I have one with a whole bunch of stuff.

I have Off road set up with a 15Turn motor and then an on road set up with a new ESC and a 7 turn Trinity motor. The things hauls and are great kits. Highly recommened!

Thanks for the replies, but the cars you all suggested are a bit too pricy, because i don't have any r/c equipment on hand, so I'm looking for one with a radio included.

Anyway with that said, thoses are some sweet cars, and i might consider bumping up my price range for one of thoses babies if need be.

Go check out the Mini-Z racers from Kyosho:
http://www.kyosho.com/cars/kyod37x1.html

The Mini-Z comes with everything you need to run them for about $150 (radio included!). Except for a some AA batteries, you don't need to buy anything more. Unless you decide you just got to have the latest hop-up parts for it http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif

The Mini-Z's seem like a good, fun, affordable alternative to 1/10th RC's.

Electric 1/10th RC cars are expensive to run and are a time consuming hobby. A gas RC requires even more dedication of time and money.

I've spend a lot of money when I had the RC bug a few years ago. Now they're sitting around collecting dust on my shelves http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/frown.gif

Mike C & those interested - these little imprezas are alot of fun to have around. they are the perfect alternative for those who don't want to spend hundreds. i bought one for myself and must say, it looks good as a display piece and helps kill time especially when waiting for my girl at the mall. they go pretty fast too. it all depends on how much u want to spend or how serious you are into R/C cars. PM me for additional info.

well,

you might want to check tamiya america for some assitance. I am a "hard core racer" when it involves r/c car i have a tc3 fatory team edition and i bought the wrc body and painted it white like my bros 00 aspen white rs so when i am not with him racing or screwing around i can have fun and win races with my own little wrc impreza
