Are the WRX & STi springs the same or different (H tech)? Spring rates are the same, but drop doen't seem to match my understanding of the STi being 0.5" lower all around than the WRX.

If they are different, any problem using the WRX springs on an STi? I prefer the increased front to rear rake of the WRX springs.

Is the free shipping still available? Also do you have any more WRX04 H-Techs in stock? I will buy on Monday if available. Tnx.

The tracking number is automatically email to the customer after the order shipped.

I am so happy with the product. TEIN has very usable everyday rates with these springs...that really transformed my wagon into the car i wanted..very solid...not too bumpy..and severely reduced body roll and over transfer of weight laterally.....combined with a 20mm rear bar off of a sedan....great package....really compliments the new shock package of the 04s..........the fronts required a spring compressor...but the rears did not.we did the job in 1hr 45 min...............next I need front and rear endlinks

hey, can you explain the rate to me.

for the 04 wagon, the s-tech has a slightly larger number, does that mean they are stiffer? and the s-techs will lower more then the h-techs right?

the Stechs are 11lbs stiffer (240/207) and 1" lower than the Htechs (229/196)

BTW, according to the factory service manual, the wagon gap on the front is 1/4" shorter (less) than the sedan.

Can you use H-Tech on stock shocks? Is it bouncy on stock shocks?

i bought my h-techs from option imports and they came very quicky.

I think they are perfect on my STi. They lowered the car into a nice aggressive stance and they really helped elminate understeer in the STi. Thanks option imports!

I ordered a set of springs by phone on Friday, July 16th. I called specifically to see that they could get them out that day, or at least Monday the 19th, so I would have a good chance of getting them before this weekend, because I am depending on them for doing a complicated suspension swap/sell with somebody. They said they could, so I ordered. Called them back on Tuesday to get a tracking number, they said they were shipped Friday, and that their system would normallly have sent a number out automatically, but it was down. I did not see them today, so I called them up and told me that they were at my local UPS depot, and had been there since Wednesday (the guy was probably misreading the tracking website). I asked him for the number. So when I looked it up, it says that they were shipped on Tuesday, July 20.....

SO seriously.....what is the deal with vendors BSing about when they will ship stuff? This is the 3rd time this year, 3rd vendor. Sometimes it's okay, but when you explictly make sure it will go out....?
