Rallitek.com 05-04-2004, 12:48 AM Anyone have the Perrin Gauge pod yet?
Trevor723 05-13-2004, 11:47 AM good question! I'd like to see that in a car
AndyM 05-13-2004, 12:56 PM I know thats a sweet pod. I would like to see how it looks in the car. Also want to see how much it blocks the instrument cluster

AndyM 05-14-2004, 03:19 PM man that is freak sweet. I like how it matches the trim on the instrument cluster
Can you tell me how does it mount. It looks like you have to screw it in the steering column?
Rallitek.com 05-16-2004, 11:00 PM You do have to screw it to the column.

Trip McNealy 06-03-2004, 10:51 PM does that pod slip over the existing steering column plastic and screw down.. or do you have to take apart the stock column?

Zornorph 06-05-2004, 01:20 PM anybody got any other pictures? From straight on from the driver's seat? From the angle in the picture above, it looks like it blocks a lot.
Looks like you could cut the mounting spacers a bit to lower it.
I do like it. another, head-on picture would seal the deal for me...
Zornorph 06-05-2004, 01:24 PM Are those 60's in the picture?
Zornorph 06-08-2004, 11:13 PM hello? Can Rallitek chime in here?
Mariano 06-09-2004, 07:25 AM How about a picture on a GC8..... :D If you post the picture and it looks good, count me in...
 :disco:  :disco:
benelliwang 06-09-2004, 09:28 PM It seems to be blocking the instrument panel. How much does it block off?
Zornorph 06-10-2004, 06:10 AM Nobody from Rallitek seems to be keeping up with this thread for the last three weeks. Last post 5-17
Zornorph 06-10-2004, 06:15 AM I sent them an e-mail asking them to stop by this thread.

I don't think they are a vendor any more, guys.
If you like that product, another NASIOC vendor sells something similar, but for much less $$$.

MRF582 06-14-2004, 12:34 AM yup, that last guage pod is much better. it barely blocks the instrument cluster and is HALF the cost.

Irishman 07-08-2004, 12:51 PM I agree the autometer looks alot better.
Leonardo 07-08-2004, 03:59 PM but I have it and sometimes I can't see the Low Fuel indicator.
still a grat pair of products.
Now, lets keep the topic on course. if you want it, post, if you don't, it has been said.
Thanks to all!
AndyWRXWG 07-08-2004, 06:53 PM wow that's one expencive peice of plastic.
driggity 07-13-2004, 05:38 PM Its metal, not plastic.
Zornorph 07-13-2004, 05:47 PM Can the vendor please chime in here? More pictures please! The three quarter view does not tell the tale.
Rallitek.com 08-09-2004, 01:34 PM Sorry about the lack of attention to this thread. It is not emailing me when people post like the other threads. I forgot this thread was still here. My apologies. AVO Japan has been here for the last 3 weeks and it seems like I have been paying too much attention to AVO and our Legacy GT.
To be completely honest about the Perrin gauge pod, they look good with really nice 60mm gauges that are smooth on the back. The rear of the pod is open, so autometer gauges, and others that do not look finnished on the back will not look good. Defi, Blitz, Omori all look good.

There are very few pics of the Perrin pod installed.

1CLNWRX 08-18-2004, 05:13 PM Has anyone bought this pod yet? When it comes to 60mm a-pillar pods, the choices are weak. Either they do not match the color of the interior or they need to be modified, or they just don't fit well and the top guage faces the window a bit. The gauge cluster seems to be a nice place if you are not into gauge hoods on the top of your dash. Anyone with more pictures of this installed, please post them. This seems like a nice piece but for $150, its kinda pricey for some aluminum. I would need to be sure how well it fit with 60mm gauges. thanks
hawker800mech 08-21-2004, 10:57 AM I just purchased it last night. I have a couple of 60's to go into it. I too didn't want the big hood or undersized piller pod. So, to me, this was all that was left.
1CLNWRX 08-21-2004, 03:48 PM hawker, could you post pics when you are done? I was thinking of mounting the two 60mm gauges I have down by the cig lighter and ash tray, facing up towards me in some Defi meter cups. Other than that, there really isn't too much to do for 60mm. Around the bezel would be ok, but they currently do not make anything like that for 60mm, except for this. So if you could, please post pics when done. thanks
surlysinglespeed 08-25-2004, 04:41 PM How do they look Hawker?
hawker800mech 08-25-2004, 11:27 PM Haven't gotten it yet. It shows up on my doorstep on Monday. I'll try and post a pic when I get it all in.

Sounds like you got the tracking numbers and everything. Let us know how it looks / installs. It looks good in Jeff Perrin's STi. We have 5 more in stock and Perrin Performance is about a 15min drive from our shop in case we run out. Thanks again.

hawker800mech 08-27-2004, 10:54 AM Sean,
I actually received it yesterday. I always get such fast shipments from you! I plan on installing it this weekend and hope to post pics. I will, also, send you the pics incase I am unable to post them here. I have the gauges in the pod and it looks good. Now, just need it in the car!
