I've just Emailed Autospeed to see if they'd be interested in a unit for we GC guys, since these current ones only fit the 02+ models. It might be a volume issue, since there's far more 02+ owners, and cars, than there are GC owners/cars left. Which I understand, but there's still several GCs out there, and many of us would love something like that, to be sure! :)

I was in contact with an employee at Autospeed a year or so ago regarding another GC project, but that never went through (they had to focus on other things). Autospeed was always very good about returning Emails and being very informative, however--so that's good!

(For those who are curious, Autospeed makes a replica shifter trim with "WRX" on it that Rallispec.com sells, and I wanted to see if a "2.5RS" one could be made for the GC. The console in our cars is more contoured though, so maybe it was too complicated?)

They're made of solid aluminum. You certainly could paint them to match your car. I don't offer that service, though.

I could be wrong, but I would bet money that the black one in the picture is not powder coated, it is anodized.

I thought it was anodized as well, but that is fine with me. :)

Yep. It is actually the one that the evo uses. It is a mitsu product. There is also a cusco one, I believe.
