Im considering buying the Borla Headers.
Is the borla header more immune to the after-effects of a turbo (increasing the boost, will increase the heat which in turn will eventually crack the stock header) Will the borla header be better to use with a turbo?

Sounds like you saw it in a magazine and thought "wow another thing I can put on my car" and now are looking for an excuse reason to put it on your car. I wouldn't bother with it. Wait unitl your manifold does crack.

You know what, my Evo has a K&N drop-in filter, three-inch exhaust and that's it. It's just as fast as those guys with K&N cone filters, super sound blow-off valves, MSD ignitions, additional injectors, 17 inch wheels etc etc.

Wait until you get the turbo. You might end up getting a kit that includes headers. I know you are probably looking at the Minnam kit (which are Borla compatable), but something else might come out that changes your mind. Like that kit turbo was talking about or the ASR kit.

Besides, if you don't buy them you are $500 closer to having the turbo.

Don't be so secretive! Anyway, in any case I think that you should get the turbo first. Then bring a set a headers (borrow them from someone who still has there stock headers) with you for your first dyno run. Then decide if you still want them.

Has anyone received any dyno results on paper from Borla yet? If so, does it look doctored?

And what ever happend to their "new and improved" version that wasn't suppose to bang on anything?

Bringing this topic out from the graveyard...Has anybody come up with a final verdict on this? I thought of getting these headers myself with the intent of buying a turbo kit within the next couple of months. Would this be a good Idea, or am I just waisting $300+ that could go toward the turbo kit?
