I was wondering if there has been any report of air sensor problems in the 2000 RS with an aftermarket intake. I was looking into getting the ISR Intake that installs with the stock plenum (big black box thingy under the hood). Anyone currently using this intake (good/bad)?

No problems ever listed. That intake should do you well, I know several people who are using it or something like it and they are preforming great.

What about rich/lean running conditions?
Rich. The 2000 runs rich all at WOT all the time with either stock or aftermarket intakes.

It's not bad to run rich, as long as not too rich, or you may foul the plugs. Nothing serious, from what I've read. You can adjust the mixture by adding a fuel computer, (aka AFC, SAFC, SFC etc). It works but leaning out the mixture at certain rpms, and based on throttle (if you get the APEX brand). Some have reported significant gains in performance by adding an AFC. Others doubt it. IMPBOY said he got an extra 1/2 sec in the 1-4 with it.

I don't mean to sound stupid but what is WOT? I've never heard this term before. Is it bad for the car to run rich? What can I do about it? Would it be bad to run the ISR intake?
(don't know much about engine's I am a body/paint guy)
