I have the Blitz DCII TT and the plug and play harness. After reading tons of threads about the install I attemped it today and I am having one problem.

The car starts fine and run but when I turn it off the car just turns off. I set it to manual mode and put 30 seconds on the timer but it just shuts off when I turn the car off. I checked my connections and everything looks okay.

I tapped into the blue blugs with the harness.

I grounded both of the black wires from the harness to the bolts on the fuse box.

I ran the purple wire to the pink wire and used the wire splice thing that the TT came with.

I cut the dark green/black wire on the security module. I could not find this grey wire I was supposed to cut near the e-brake?? I think I might not have one?

The only thing I can think is that the purple wire is not grounded somehow? I hooked it to the pink ebrake wire. The ebrake is on. What could be wrong? Do I have to activate manual mode?

Note: There is an extra wire on the Blitz Plug and play harness. Does it plug into anything?

Note2: I double checked the purple ground wire and it is grounded.

It must be the purple wire it not getting ground. That is the only thing I can think of. Everything is working perfect. I was even able to get the boost gauge working. I turn the key off and the car shuts off... no turbo timing. :( I will try to ground the purple wire to something else tomorrow and see if that helps.

I think I had the correct pink ebrake wire, but I think the vampire clip wire tap that came with the TT was not good. I cut the purple wire and grounded it to one of the bolts on the frame in the ebrake area and it's working fine now. I need to buy something better to tap into the pink wire or have a friend that is good with that stuff do it for me. Everything is working good now. Even tested the alarm and was able to lock it.
