they work but you have to shim the upper shaft of the struts with a couple washers in the rear.

I'm running a custom koni/Gound control TYPE setup... that uses a 400/200 lbs setup. You really don't have to worry about using too stiff or too soft of a spring. its very much a matter of prefrence. however I wouldn't lower the car much further then 1.25 inchs with out having the insert shortened.

is it actually possible to have the inserts shortened? I'd like to drop the car more than 1.25 inches. I have a whiteline springs and stock struts currently which are around a 1in in front and 1.5 in the rear. I'd like the front to be 1.5 and the rear 1.75 or so... what will you sell me a set of Ground Control sleeve/spring and the koni's for? P.M. me please!

the comp bars come with a different type of endlink ( comp links) and bars and sub frame brackets to replace the old stockers. the comp bars are a pretty god deal when you consider what you get for them. but they are a little on the stiff side for daily use. if you're an avid road racer or auto-x'er than its a different story ;)

SPORT
3 Position Rear +50%, +90%, +160%

COMPETITION
3 Position Rear +71%, +123%, +200%

the fronts are the same, so they are close but you can tell the difference between the two settings though. I personally really like the 90% setting as it feels just right on the shocks I've been toying with. the 70% setting will still be a vast improvement over stock... and well the 200, you get the picture ;).

Cool. Like 2 years ago, I bought the PIAA Subaru specific kit for an 02. While driving on the highway some truck threw this big stone right at the right hand fog light. I would order the parts, but I dont know which specific light model it was. Thought it was the 80 XT rally light, but when I looked at the PIAA website it says it was the 580 model..?

Anyways just the glass broke, and the bulb is fine. Dont know what to order...

Hotchkis Endlinks for STi $127 shipped

Couple Questions...
I thought the Hotchkis bars for WRX and STi were different.
Your website has the Hotchkis Bars for STi @ $450. Are these the competition bars?

Hotchkis's website shows two different item #s for the sway bars sets for either the WRX and Sti....which one do you stock? I have a 2005 Sti and I just want to make sure that I don't accidentally receive a WRX sway bars set.

How much for the Koni Inserts (set of 4)?

Soulive live and Wayne, when the bars first came out they were using the same part number for the WRX and the STi. I use the 22406 on my 04 STi, but in 05 something changed and the subframe bracket didn't clear the muffler. for 04 it doesn't matter which one you get.

the 22417 was designed around the new car and fits both old and new STi's I have them ont eh way into me right now. should be about a week right now. You can specify it in the comments field that you want the 22417 when ordering the sport bars and I'll see to it that you get the correct bars.

the $450 sti bars listed are the competition bars.

You can always call to make sure that you get the order 100% right.

the bars do come with comp links, 450 probably isn't going to be possible with the new pricing ( it increased at the beginning of the month). But I can still work you out a deal, I have 3 sets in stock. Give me a call and I'll work something out for you.

yes sir, but if you're willing to come pick it up we can save you a few bucks.

Good prices and service. I don't know how often they monitor this thread, but over e-mail they're pretty responsive. Ordered my struts March 8 and received them March 14 (shipped from florida to california).

no response from either form of communication yet, and CVR is selling agx for 410 shipped.

I'm assuming you have the WRX wagon length lateral/camber links? From a thread in the Brakes & Suspension Forum it appears they're PN 25406. Apparently my Legacy uses lateral links that are the same length as the GC8/WRX wagon, so I'm in the market.

Does the koni mount directly onto ground control without hacking up the stock struts? I'm not familiar with that setup. Also, what spring rates will you suggest for daily driver/some track use.
